MeiSi Super Fine is a waxed linen thread developed for refined stitching and cleaner visual results. It is made from 100% linen in a 3-ply twisted round construction and is intended for makers who want the natural character of linen with a smoother, more controlled feel in use.
What makes it different
This line is polished three times and waxed twice, which gives it a smoother surface and a more composed handling character. It is especially well suited to fine leatherwork, watch straps, small goods and other work where stitch definition and visual discipline matter.
Recommended use
MeiSi Super Fine is suitable for hand stitching and is also presented by the manufacturer as suitable for machine sewing. It is a strong choice when you want a refined linen seam rather than a more rugged, visibly fibrous look. The line is offered in four diameters: M30 (0.35 mm), M40 (0.45 mm), M50 (0.55 mm) and M60 (0.65 mm). Spool lengths are listed as follows: M30 — 150 m / 450 m, M40 — 90 m / 270 m, M50 — 80 m / 240 m, M60 — 50 m / 150 m. The colour range includes 97 colours plus Natural.
